MBM Letter Folders
Our MBM letter folders are designed with the busy office in mind. One of the unique MBM features is their “test” mode on the high-volume letter folders, a selector button for a two-letter test batch that helps ensure you’re getting the desired fold before you run a large batch. And because these are quick folders, you can prevent a lot of potential waste - the MBM 307A Automatic Programmable Folder can produce a comfortable 180 folds per minute. The small-scale MBM machine design tends to use dials rather than sliders for making necessary adjustments, including fold types, between jobs. For the 207M, you adjust the guide rails, which can also be fine-tuned by a dial. Because these MBM machines are built for volume jobs, they all come with similar high functioning features, including their entry-level MBM 93M Paper Folder - a digital count display, a feeder tray and good sized exit tray, a roller exit design that firms up the output. The 93M is also able to make 4 basic folds, and it has been designed for compactness in that both feeder and exit trays can fold into the body for portability and storage. Overall, MBM has taken noise-reduction into consideration by keeping the folding mechanism fully enclosed. Depending on the model, other features include alarms for misfeeds and self-setting exit release. The higher end machines have more fold and size options, which are all programmable, with the 207 M able to take paper sizes up to 11 x 17 and a variety of paper qualities up to 80-pound paper. The top-end MBM 407A Auto Programmable Folder is able to take and store 27 custom folds. In terms of speed, from smaller-scale to top end machine, the difference is about 1, possibly 2 sheets per second. A name with a 60-year history, MBM makes very dependable, user-friendly machines.
